Alyse Covington

A little about me!

I am a second year Hofstra Student studying Criminology, I am also in the Honors College!

I am from San Francisco, CA, so I love being in any big city with lots of people. I also lived in Southern California for a few years, but definitely consider NorCal home.

I played soccer for most of my life and also swam for close to a decade. Although I do not play sports in college, I still love to swim and play soccer in my free time or with friends. I also love watching my friends play soccer at their respective colleges.

I really love animals so the HofCats always make my day, I even thought about being a veterinarian for years! However, my dream job would be a therapist for incarcerated people, so I intend to earn a Masters Degree in Psychology after I graduate.

I chose Hofstra because of their impressive criminology program as well as their proximity to NYC! I also love the community and campus.
